Kings Bury Avalanche 5-0 To Halt Colorado's Winning Streak

DENVER (AP) -- Jonathan Quick stopped 23 shots for his third shutout of the season, Dustin Brown had two goals and two assists, and the Los Angeles Kings beat Colorado 5-0 on Tuesday night to end the Avalanche's six-game win streak.

Rob Scuderi had a goal and an assist, Brad Richardson scored a goal, and Anze Kopitar and Drew Doughty had two assists apiece for the Kings.

Craig Anderson had 27 saves for Colorado, which was shut out for the first time this season. The last time the Avalanche were blanked was a 3-0 loss at Los Angeles on Feb. 13 -- a span of 55
games.
