MISSION VIEJO (AP) — Four hikers who disappeared near a flooded Southern California canyon were found Tuesday.

Orange County Fire Captain Greg McKeown Talks To KNX 1070 About The Rescue

Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Greg McKeown says the four hikers were located, but their conditions were not immediately available.

Late Monday, a fire authority swiftwater team rescued five men stranded by rain-swollen Trabuco Creek between Holy Jim Canyon and Trabuco Canyon northeast of Mission Viejo.

    I cease to be amazed by the stupidity of the collective decision of these 4 to go “hiking” in a raging storm.
    Would it not be better for the human race to leave natural selection to work it’s magic?
    I feel sorry for the men & woman that are looking for them.
