Oh Deer, Bones Found In Park Turn Out Not To Be Human
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The good news: they weren't from a human. Some bones found in a Benedict Canyon park belonged to a deer, a coroner's investigator said Wednesday.
Los Angeles police were sent to Sheila Agnes Nature Preserve in the 2700 block of Benedict Canyon Drive Tuesday afternoon when someone found some bones and called authorities.
Ed Winter of the coroner's office said investigators determined the bones came from a deer.
