AEG Unveils Design For Proposed NFL Stadium In LA

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The developers who want to build an NFL stadium in downtown Los Angeles have unveiled renderings of proposed designs for the sports and convention complex.

AEG showed off architects' drawings of the proposed development at a press conference Wednesday.

Tim Romani, president of the project management firm ICON Venue Group, promised that the project would come in at under $1 billion.

The plan would be to tear down the West Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center to make room for a stadium and build a replacement in under a year.

Including Staples and the LA Live hotel and retail complex, the proposal would bring some 100,000 contiguous acres of downtown under AEG's management.
