SAN DIEGO (AP) — The U.S. Geological Survey says a moderate earthquake in Baja California, Mexico, that was followed by a series of smaller temblors was felt in the San Diego area Saturday. No injuries or damages have been reported.

The 4.9-magitude earthquake struck at 4:52 a.m. It was 13 miles southwest of Guadalupe Victoria in Baja California, and 106 miles east-southeast of Tijuana.

San Diego County authorities said there were no reports of damages or injuries.

In Imperial County, El Centro Police Department dispatcher Kristi Davis told the City News Service that for a few seconds, the quake “felt like it was rolling the building.”

The USGS says the quake is an aftershock of the magnitude 7.2 Easter earthquake. Six smaller earthquakes measuring between magnitudes of 2.6 and 3.2 followed Saturday’s moderate temblor.
