Boy Reported Abducted Found Safe

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A 2-year-old boy, who had been reported as being abducted by his biological father's girlfriend at MacArthur Park, turned up safe along with the woman at his mother's residence in Long Beach, according to police.

Police had sought the public's help in the alleged abduction of Ocean Wilson at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Detective Yvette Gonzalez of the Los Angeles Police Department's Rampart Station said.

Police had circulated photos of the child and his alleged abductor, identified as 21-year-old Bianca Simone Jackson.

The boy's mother notified police Thursday morning that her son and Jackson were at her Long Beach residence. Police found the boy apparently unharmed, Los Angeles police Sgt. Demian Wyma said.

Long Beach police aided in the investigation.

Jackson was taken into custody for questioning, and the investigation was continuing into the circumstances of the incident, Wyma said.
