Pregnant San Bernardino Woman Sets Herself Ablaze After Argument

SAN BERNARDINO (AP) — Fire officials say a pregnant San Bernardino woman died when she went to her garage, doused herself with gasoline and set herself ablaze during an argument with her boyfriend.

San Bernardino fire spokesman Mike Arvizo says 27-year-old Sonnealita Louder was pronounced dead at the scene.

Arvizo says Louder ran back to her apartment and tried to put water on her burning body.

Authorities told the San Bernardino Sun that Louder's boyfriend sustained smoke inhalation and minor burns while trying to help her.

Louder's mother says the victim was six months pregnant. Children and Family Services took custody of her 3-year-old daughter.
