Virgin Australia Jetliner Makes Emergency Landing At LAX
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A Virgin Australia Boeing 777 jetliner made an emergency landing at Los Angeles International Airport Monday after the pilot reported “high pressure” in the left main landing gear, the Federal Aviation Administration reported.
The jetliner landed at LAX without incident at 7:38 a.m., Ian Gregor of the FAA said.
The plane was carrying 378 passengers and crew, Albert Rodriguez of Los Angeles World Airports said.
The circumstances were under investigation.
