CBS — According to Tony Jackson of ESPN, the Los Angeles Dodgers are actively involved in discussions on a possible three-player deal with the Milwaukee Brewers that would bring slugging first baseman Prince Fielder to Los Angeles in exchange for Dodgers first baseman James Loney and closer Jonathan Broxton.

In Fielder, the Dodgers would get an established slugger in the prime of his career at just 26 years if age.

we need to make a winning team to attract better players and we have not had that…..this year we even lost in our own division……we are sorely in need of a person to step up to bat that can make a difference……manny started that but it didn’t last….without him we were just a minor league team…and pitching….expecting too much from broxton….he wasn’t and never will be a closer….and looney……price is going up and value is steadily declining

I can’t agree with you anymore. Don”t understand why Loney won’t be shopped around. Our organization sucks, the reason I have not gone to a Dodger game in 2 years going on 3. Make moves to make this team better!!
