Apparent Stabbing Death Probed As Possible Accident
LA MIRADA (CBS) — Authorities say a man in La Mirada initially reported to have been fatally stabbed apparently died from natural causes.
The man's body was found in the 14700 block of Firestone Boulevard.
The body was found just after 7 p.m. Saturday. A Coroner's investigator said the death did not appear to be a homicide.
The identify of the deceased was not made public pending notification of next of kin.
The exact cause of death won't be known until an autopsy is conducted, but that foul play was not suspected.
Anyone with information about how the man might have accidentally killed himself was asked to call sheriff's detectives at (323) 890-5550.
