Midwest Snowstorm Delays Flights Departing LAX
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A huge snowstorm over the Midwest delayed dozens of flights out of Los Angeles International Airport Saturday.
Flights departing from LAX to O'Hare Airport in Chicago were held at their departure gates for about 49 minutes before departure, because of snow and ice at the Chicago field, the FAA said.
Some flights were delayed up to an hour and 45 minutes.
