Around-the-clock prayers expected through Dec.

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Organizers say they expect thousands of people to participate in a 31-day prayer marathon for peace in Los Angeles County this holiday season.

KNX 1070’s Claudia Peschiutta reports

Minister Ben Owen says the “prayer-a-thon” will go on through the month of December, as they asking for love , peace, unity, and reconciliation for the community.

The goal is to provide around-the-clock prayer for every community in L.A. County and they’re looking for prayer-warriors who will pray for at least 15 minutes a day for the entire month of December to pray for at least three communities.

Mr. Owen says he expects about 10,000 people to participate.
