Passenger Hurt After Small Plane Flips Over At OC Airport

FULLERTON (AP) — A small plane has flipped over at an Orange County airport, slightly injuring one person on board.

Allen Kenitzer of the Federal Aviation Administration says the single-engine aircraft was heading from John Wayne Airport to Fullerton shortly after noon Wednesday.

Kenitzer says the plane made three landing attempts at Fullerton Municipal Airport and on the last one it flipped over.

Fullerton Fire Department Division Chief Tom Schultz says one person was treated at the scene for minor injuries and the other person on board wasn't hurt.

Their names weren't immediately released.

The accident is under investigation.
