Thousands Of Families To Receive Free Turkeys In South LA
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Thousands of families are lining up in South Los Angeles for free turkeys at an annual event sponsored by Jackson Limousine Service.
Volunteers started handing out the frozen birds at 8 a.m. in the 3600 block of West Slauson Avenue.
Organizers have 10,000 turkeys on hand.
Jackson Limousine has been doing the turkey giveaway for 24 years.
