Cab Driver Wanted In Santa Monica Sexual Assault

SANTA MONICA (CBS) — Santa Monica police need help identifying a taxi driver suspected of sexually assaulting a woman.

A composite drawing has been released of the taxi driver who police say attacked a woman about 7:30 p.m. Nov. 17 after she hailed his cab in the 300 block of Arizona Avenue and asked to be driven home.

Police say the cab driver instead took her to the 3000 block of Barnard Way, where he sexually assaulted her.

The suspect was described as being of Middle Eastern descent, about 56 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall and 155 pounds with short black and gray hair.
