Mom Held For Murder In Baby’s 2007 Death

ANAHEIM (AP) — A Riverside County woman whose baby died three years ago has been arrested for investigation of murder.

Anaheim police say 25-year-old Noel Hurtado of Corona and the child’s uncle, 19-year-old Timmothy Hurtado of Anaheim, were arrested at their homes on Thursday.

They were booked for investigation of murder and are being held on $1 million bail each.

Police say Noel Hurtado’s 1-year-old son, Dartanian Hurtado, died in August 2007 after he was brought to an Orange County hospital with serious injuries.

The murder investigation eventually focused on the mother and other relatives who lived with the boy in an Anaheim home.

Sgt. Rick Martinez says he doesn’t have details of the boy’s death or what led to the arrests.

took them three years to arrest these two evil pigs yet it was horrible enough to give them each a one million dollar bail- way to go LAPD. I feel really safe. Wonder how the baby felt with no help, and no chance…
