Jewelry Store Robbery Suspects Arrested In South Pasadena

SOUTH PASADENA (CBS) — Police say they've taken four robbery suspects into custody after a nearly seven-hour search and standoff in a South Pasadena neighborhood.

The suspects were reported just before 2 p.m. by a resident in the 400 block of Prospect Circle, South Pasadena police Sgt. Tony Abdalla said. Police called to the scene later learned the suspects were possibly involved in a jewelry store smash-and-grab robbery that just happened in Pasadena.

After an exhaustive search involving trained dogs and tactical teams, four suspects were taken into custody without incident. No additional suspects are believed at large in South Pasadena, Abdalla said.
