Police Release Video Of Valley Pharmacy Robbery Suspects

SHERMAN OAKS (CBS) — Los Angeles police released video surveillance footage today in hopes of tracking down two robbery suspects who stole medication from a Sherman Oaks pharmacy.

The robbery occurred about 10:40 a.m. on Nov. 6 in the 12900 block of Magnolia Boulevard.

The first suspect entered the pharmacy alone and walked behind the counter, where he ordered employees to the ground. A few seconds later, the second suspect came in and scooped up medicine bottles from the shelves, police said.

The suspects were described as black men.

One of the suspects is described as black, about 6 feet tall and 200 pounds, with a possible goatee. He was wearing black pants, a black shirt with a white long-sleeve undershirt, white shoes and a black baseball cap.

The second suspect is black, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and 140 pounds. He was wearing a hooded, black pullover shirt, black pants and white shoes. He covered his face with a blue bandana, wore large, football-style gloves and had a brown satchel over his shoulder.

Anyone with information about their identities or whereabouts was asked to call the LAPD's Van Nuys Division robbery detectives at (818) 374-0040.
