ROWLAND HEIGHTS (AP) — A 65-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of killing his wife in their home.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department says Stanley Wang was arrested on Tuesday after calling 911 to report that his wife had been hurt.

The 41-year-old woman was found dead at a Rowland Heights home. Her name wasn’t released.

The couple was estranged. Deputy Guillermina Saldana says investigators determined that Wang’s wife suffered head injuries during a fight with her husband when she returned home to get some belongings.

Wang remains jailed Wednesday on $1 million bail.

Wow, I live very close to here. I have a theory about this murder. Many women from China come to the U.S to marry and get a green card w/o divorcing their husbands in China. The idea is to obtain the green card than bring the husband from China. So it looks like Mr. Wang may have been taken advantage of. After his estranged wife obtained her green card, she divorced him. Must be very sad for Mr. Wang if this is the case, especially if that 4yr old daughter is not from a previous marriage. But murder none the less, and he should be penalized to the full extent.
