RUBIDOUX (CBS) — Roughly 145 firefighters have contained a fast-moving brush fire in Rubidoux, a Cal Fire spokeswoman said Sunday afternoon.

The blaze was reported around 12:20 p.m. near Pacific Avenue and Canal Street and reached 45 acres before it was contained at 1:50 p.m., Cal Fire spokeswoman Jody Hagemann said.

Seventeen engines, two water tenders and two bulldozers were sent to combat the flames.

No injuries or evacuations have been reported.
