Blowing past those old records

Someone remind me…this is November right???  Yesterday we broke temperature records all across Southern California.  In many cases these were the highest temperatures ever recorded in the month of November.  A strong ridge of high pressure (that’s the warm air mass) and a bit of an off-shore flow at lower levels gave us the scorching hot conditions.  We cool off nicely for the weekend…nevertheless here are some of the record numbers

Long Beach 100, LAX 98, Downtown L.A. 97, UCLA 99, San Gabriel 100, Big Bear Lake 73, Santa Ana 101, Yorba Linda 99
