Talk Much? Extrovert Personalities May Lose Sleep
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — If you're having trouble sleeping, researchers say maybe you should keep your mouth closed, at least during the day.
A study in the Nov. 1 edition of the journal Sleep found that vulnerability to sleep deprivation may be influenced by the interaction between waking social activity and individual personality traits. It turns out the bigger your personality, the more likely it is you may have trouble sleeping.
Lead researcher Tracy Rupp, a psychologist with Walter Reed's Army Institute of Research, joins KFWB's Maggie McKay to explain the purpose of such a study.
