Chase Suspect Shot To Death In San Bernardino
SAN BERNARDINO (AP) — Investigators say an armed suspect has been shot to death by a San Bernardino police officer after a brief car chase.
Sgt. Vicki Cervantes says the officer wasn't hurt.
Investigators told the Riverside Press-Enterprise that a short pursuit ended at 1:55 a.m. Tuesday with gunfire at 17th and G streets near San Bernardino High School. The reason for the initial car chase haven't been disclosed.
Voicemail messages left for police spokesman Lt. Jerrod Burguan weren't immediately returned.
