THIS IS NOVEMBER?

You gotta be kidding me!  It's the first week of November and we are getting ready for record breaking heat.  This has been a very interesting fall.  We have had a yo-yo forecast with cool and rainy conditions followed by hot and dry conditions.  A ridge of high pressure will build in this week and give us an off-shore flow.  Right now the anticipated high downtown is 94.  But by this afternoon when we get some new model data...we could forecast highs in the upper 90's.  96 is the old record for Wednesday...and we are certainly flirting with that.  For those of you who are weather nuts out there...here is the link to a great site for forecast model data.  It's from the College of Dupage.

It won't last all that long we are looking at some cooling for the weekend.  Another trough will bring it back down to the low 70's by Satuday.

By the way...here is how you can keep up with all of my social media. On twitter I'm weatherjosh.  On facebook you can find me at Josh Rubenstein.  And of course you are reading my blog right now...so no links for that.
