Fire Damages Home Of Jackson Dermatologist

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A fire has damaged the Los Angeles home of
Michael Jackson's longtime dermatologist.

Los Angeles fire spokesman Brian Humphrey says firefighters put out the blaze at the three-story home of Dr. Arnold Klein in 38 minutes.

He says a 74-year-old woman was rescued from the smoky house, and firefighters helped three men take shelter on a balcony.

One of the men — a 65-year-old in a wheelchair — was taken to a hospital in fair condition.

Klein — a close friend of Jackson who administered Botox and other treatments to the singer for years — issued a statement to reporters acknowledging the fire was at his house and saying everyone was fine.

His relationship to the people at the house was not clear.
