Fullerton Woman Killed In Accident Involving Go Kart-Type Vehicle, KNX 1070's Ed Mertz reports.

Sheriff's Lt. Lloyd Downing said Sunday that Hwa Oh, of Fullerton, was with family members in the parking lot of a swap meet Saturday evening when she decided to take a turn on the vehicle.

Oh lost control of the cart and ran through some bushes, across a sidewalk and onto Beach Boulevard, where she was struck by a car.

She was declared dead at a hospital.

Oh's daughter, Cindy Morrow, told the Orange County Register that her mother was a good driver, but speculated that she became nervous and couldn't control the vehicle.

No citations were issued.
