WEST HOLLYWOOD (CBS) — Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to flock to Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood Sunday evening for the West Hollywood Halloween Carnival.

The Halloween celebration kicks off at 6 p.m., commemorating the 35th Anniversary of the Rocky Horror Picture.

Following the kickoff, there will be a Carnival March starting at 7 p.m. at Santa Monica and La Cienega boulevards.

"This year's Halloween Carnival entertainment is a diverse and unique as the city itself," said West Hollywood John Heilman in a news statement.

"From the Rocky Horror Picture Show and a record-breaking Time Warp dace to Prince Poppycock and his award-winning music to highly-talented performance artists including Momma and the Wandering Marionettes, this will be a true West Hollywood-style Halloween celebration."
