SACRAMENTO (CBS) — The fiery campaign speeches from Tea Party candidates may be turning up the heat on the establishment in Washington, but here in California, it seems the movement is still only lukewarm.
With mere days to go before voters cast their ballots in one of the more emotionally-charged elections in recent memory, candidates like Senate hopeful Carly Fiorina may not be officially affiliiated with the “Partiers”, but Fiorina and many others are looking to tap into the anger and frustration felt by so many voters here in the state.
But some analysts say that strategy may backfire in the Golden State.
