Wanted: Man Who Raped, Tried To Kill Woman In Hemet

HEMET (CBS) — Authorities are looking for a man who abducted, raped and tried to kill a woman in Hemet.

The man grabbed the victim as he walked along Florida Avenue around 2 p.m. Sunday, police said.

He forced her into a white 1993 Ford Ranger pickup truck and drove to the Valle Vista area, where he raped and tried to kill her, police said.

She was left on Marshall Avenue in Valle Vista.

The man was described as Hispanic, 30 to 40 years old, about 5 feet 4 inches tall, clean shaven, with tightly cropped black and gray hair, combed back on the top. He spoke English with a thick accent.

The Ford pickup he was driving may have some front end damage.

Anyone with information on the suspect was urged to call Hemet police investigators at (951) 765-2400.

I am not 100% sure yet, but this guy was probably an illegal alien who just wanted to work or just wanted a better place for him and his family .. Right?…… As that is probably with your worldly view …Right?

this guy needs to be taken out back & what needs to be done must be done. i don’t care if he was green or brown, black or white we need to stick together as Americans & make the cost of doing those kind of crimes so harsh that they will no longer want to do those kind of crimes . i am an ex con & a Chicano but right is right & no child or woman should have to suffer these sick people.

I Somewhat agree with BigJohn, I am a hispanic my mom and dad were immigrants or illegal aliens how ever you want to call it! i agree with shuttin the border because of all the sick ppl that are in the cartel but yet Yes there are ppl who need to work for there family the government out there is so messed up for hard labor you get paid $60 a week 40 hrs, but there is one in every race you have white ppl that are rapist black.indian.hispanic etc…. there is one in every race oh and by the way they cought this guy already!
