High Wind Knocks Light Pole Onto Classroom Roof
SANTA PAULA (KCAL9) — High wind knocked a light pole onto the roof of a classroom at Renaissance High School.
The incident, which occurred just after 11 a.m. Wednesday, took place at Palm and Santa Barbara in Santa Paula.
One ambulance was reportedly dispatched to the scene, but there was no word on injuries, authorities said.
Meanwhile, wind advisories are still in effect for the Inland Empire, as well as the Orange County coast and Santa Ana Mountains.
Winds are expected to decrease overnight and into Thursday with warm temperatures expected until showers arrive late Friday night through Saturday afternoon.
