Patchy Rain Possible Across SoCal Through Monday
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A cold front sweeping down from the Mendocino coast will hit Southern California Sunday night, the National Weather Service said.
Gusty winds and scattered showers will accompany the cold front expected to spread past Santa Barbara after midnight.
Winds up to 60 miles per hour are possible in mountain passes and the high desert, the NWS said. The Golden State (5) Freeway over the Tejon Pass and Grapevine will be most-exposed to the winds.
A warming and clearing trend will blow in on Tuesday, giving the region 2-3 days of nice weather. Another cold front and storm is possible Friday, however.
