HAWTHORNE (CBS) — A couple found dead in their Hawthorne home were identified Saturday.
Robyn Turnage, 57, and husband Leamond Turnage, 69, were found about 3:45 p.m. Friday, after relatives were reportedly unable to reach them and asked police to check the home.
Police and sheriff’s detectives declined to say how the couple died.
Neighbor Jose De La Torre told the Daily Breeze one body was found outside the garage and the other in the house.
According to reports, detectives were investigating if the deaths were related to a home invasion robbery on Sept. 24 in which an 80-year-old man died of a heart attack.
