Bizarre Cases That Made Even A Shrink Go 'Huh'?

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — By the nature of what they do, shrinks (that's psychiatrists, if you wanna be technical) hear it all.

Crazy. Wild. Seriously strange. Nothing fazes them.

So when they ARE fazed...? Take note.

Dr. Gary Small collected a series of stories of some of his most bizarre, WTF, cases and compiled them in a new book (co-authored with his wife) "The Naked Lady Who Stood On Her Head: A Psychiatrist's Stories of His Most Bizarre Cases."

Dr. Small was an in-studio guest on the KCAL 9 News at Noon Friday to talk about some of the wackiest and most interesting cases, among them an executive who is addicted to water, a man who feels his hand isn't connected to his body and the mom who developed mysterious ailments in order to be closer to her son, the med student.
