Police, Feds Involved In LA, Riverside County Crime Sweep
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Hundreds of agents and officers are sweeping through Los Angeles and Riverside counties to arrest people accused of supplying street gangs with drugs and guns.

Los Angeles police Detective Gus Villanueva says a task force of more than 800 federal, state and local law enforcement officers began serving arrest warrants Thursday morning.
Authorities sought 61 people named in six federal indictments.
The indictments accuse them of schemes to distribute methamphetamines, cocaine and weapons.
Hundreds of people have been arrested in California this year in sweeps aimed at street gangs, drug sellers and probation violators.
