DEVORE (AP) — A man has been found dead in a burned Porsche on a San Bernardino County freeway and investigators don’t think the fire was an accident.
The California Highway Patrol spotted a burning 2005 Porsche Cayenne SUV on Thursday night near an on-ramp of Interstate 15 near Devore.
The man’s body was found after the fire was put out.
His identity hasn’t been released and the cause of his death is under investigation.
A statement Friday from the county Sheriff’s Department says detectives believe the fire wasn’t an accident and the death is being investigated as a homicide.
It says the SUV was registered in Chino.
