LOS ANGELES (AP) — Dozens of people on both coasts have been charged by Manhattan prosecutors in a $100 million Medicare fraud scheme.

FBI agents arrested several of the suspects Wednesday in New York City and Los Angeles. Authorities say some have links to Armenian organized crime.

The suspects allegedly stole the identities of both doctors and patients. Authorities say they used the names to submit fake bills to Medicare.

The suspects were to be appear in federal court later Wednesday to face racketeering charges.

Most of these people are refugees. Is there a law that prohibits the government of deporting refugees who defraud their host country of hundreds of millions of dollars and at the same time deprive deserving beneficiaries. It would have been enough to replace 3 cents worth of COLA that was not given for the second time in a row.

One of the main players involved is Armen Apayan from Glendale California he has not been arrested yet so he may flee back to Armenia where it will be hard to extradite him back to the US.

Shahen Darbinian and his family have had their hand in the cookie jar for some time, just google Darbinian and see how much info you find on his family and the FBI.

100 M is nothing compared to the amount Sen Grassley, Fla is uncovering with Psychiatrists over prescribing all over the country. He got 2.8 bill in 20009 for fraud.
