Short-Handed Goal Helps Flames Sink Kings

CALGARY, Alberta (AP) -- Miikka Kiprusoff made 21 saves, and Curtis Glencross scored a short-handed goal in the Calgary Flames' 3-1 victory over the Los Angeles Kings on Sunday night.

Craig Conroy and Niklas Hagman also scored to help the Flames rebound from a 4-0 season-opening loss at Edmonton on Thursday night.

Dustin Brown scored for Los Angeles, coming off a 2-1 shootout victory Saturday night in Vancouver.
