NORCO (CBS) — A 13-year-old girl was taken to Juvenile Hall Friday for allegedly attacking a boy with a razor blade.

The attack, which took place on a school bus, was reported at 2:45 p.m. Thursday near Corydon Avenue and Vine Street in Norco.

The girl was arguing with the boy, who’s also 13, when she pulled out a razor and slashed at his arms, according to sheriff’s Sgt. Justin Rowan.

The victim’s wounds were superficial, and he did not require medical attention, the sergeant said.

Deputies took the girl to Juvenile Hall, where she was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and making criminal threats, he said.

The names of both teens were withheld.
