2nd Suspect Nabbed For WeHo Liquor Store Robbery

WEST HOLLYWOOD (CBS) — Police said Friday that they've arrested the second suspect wanted for a West Hollywood liquor store robbery in which a sheriff's deputy accidentally fired eight shots at the store clerk mistaking him for one of the robbers.

Ronni Ronisha Reed, 20, of Palmdale was arrested this afternoon at her attorney's office in Los Angeles, said Sgt. Art Famble of the West Hollywood
sheriff's station.

A 17-year-old boy from South Los Angeles was taken into custody
Wednesday night. He implicated himself in the robbery and admitted he was a gang member, Famble said.

A male armed with a gun and a female robbed Camel Liquor in the 8200
block of Santa Monica Boulevard, near Havenhurst Drive, about 1:15 a.m. Sunday, Famble said.

A deputy responding to the robbery "saw a man matching one of the suspects' description run from the area of the liquor store, holding what he
believed to be a gun, and a deputy-involved shooting occurred," said Deputy Lillian Peck of the Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau.

The man was not hit.

Lt. Alicia Ault told the WeHo News website a deputy fired eight rounds at a man who turned out to be the store clerk.

Deputies urged anyone with information regarding the robbery or the
suspects to contact the West Hollywood sheriff's station at (310) 855-8850.
