LONG BEACH (CBS) — Two car theft suspect were in custody and another at large after a police pursuit Wednesday evening that started near Towne Center and ended near Hawaiian Gardens.

Officials say the chase began at 5:42 p.m. and ended near an off-ramp from the San Gabriel (605) Freeway.

According to  Lisa Massacani of the Long Beach Police Department a third suspect was still being sought.

Justin Jaeger, reporting overhead for Sky 9, said the car, a Chevy Malibu, was LoJack equipped. He also reported the chase came to an abrupt end when the suspects crashed into a pole.
