Officials Offer Reward In Deadly Lancaster Shooting

LANCASTER (CBS) — Sheriff's deputies Tuesday announced a $5,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of whoever killed a 14-year-old girl and wounded six people at a Sept. 5, party in Lancaster.

Dominique Peatry of Lancaster was killed and two other females and four males were shot near Nugent Street and Sixth Street East early that Sunday, Nicole Nishida of the sheriff's department said.

Authorities were looking for one or more shooters, Nishida said.

More than 40 people attended the party and at least 15 shots were fired, according to witnesses. A detective said shots were fired inside and outside the home.

Anyone with more information was urged to contact the Sheriff's Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500 or the anonymous tip line at (800) 222-TIPS.
