2 Men Found Fatally Shot Inside Pickup Truck

CARSON (CBS/KNX1070) — Two men were found fatally shot early Sunday morning in an unincorporated area near Carson.

The victims were discovered inside a dark blue Chevrolet pickup truck in the left-turn lane on Torrance Boulevard at Normandie Avenue, LA County Sheriff's Sgt. Mitch Loman said.

When their vehicle did not turn at the light, a cab driver behind them pulled up, saw the bodies inside and flagged down a passing police officer.

"The two males deceased inside the car both suffering from gunshot wounds and this incident appears to be gang-related at this time," Loman said.

Deputies say a number of shots were fired and authorities will determine whether the shots came from another vehicle or whether a gunman or gunmen walked up to the truck and opened fire.
