Jewelry Sale To Benefit Sex Trafficking Survivors

LOS ANGELES — iSanctuary, a nonprofit organization, is planning a "purchase with a purpose" trunk show Saturday, October 9th, at A Place of Our Own in Los Alamitos.

They will be selling jewelry made by young survivors of human trafficking.

Founded three years ago by two Orange County women, iSanctuary has helped more than 100 girls and women, who previously had been rescued from forced sex trafficking in Mumbai, India.

Through the efforts of iSanctuary the girls and women have been taught the trade of designing and making jewelry, as well as basic life skills.

The jewelry sale will run from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 10655 Los Alamitos Blvd.
