Neill replaced James Dearth, who hurt a foot a day after beingsigned to replace David Binn, the 17-yearveteran who injured ahamstring in a season-opening loss at Kansas City and was put onIR.
The Chargers also signed strong safety Quinton Teal and cornerback Dante Hughes. They also waived running back Curtis Brinkley and placed linebacker James Holt (shoulder) on IR.
