PARAMOUNT (CBS) — A man was killed Monday morning in a two-car crash at the Garfield Avenue onramp to the 105 Freeway, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The man was trapped in his vehicle when firefighters arrived after the crash at 2:33 a.m., Supervising Dispatcher Ed Pickett said.

It took crews 30 minutes to extricate the gravely injured man, who died before he was removed from the vehicle, Pickett said.

Three people reportedly fled the scene of the crash, so it was not known if anyone else was injured.

I think I know the man that was killed…he was a bail bonds guy and he bailed me out of jail once…he was a high school friend of my brother…sad, sad, sad event. My prayers go out to his family.

So sad for this person, anyone’s death is sad and hard on the family and loved ones. (Why would it be a drunk or illegal alien? Why? Maybe it was working men on his way home. So sorry for the person who lost there live, but also sorry for the person who feels this way about Illegal Aliens.

for some reason I can’t stop thinking about this maybe its cause the crashh was so close to my house , I think I’ve seen that cryslar once or twice before but there’s so many alike , on my way to school this morning I saw all the flowers in the entrence , and it was reallyy a sad scene , I jus wanna say to the person “FFL” just because they said the car was registered in mexico don’t mean they are “aliens” why such a racsit remark? It could have been a citizen from heree who was scarred to go to jail. Anyways , I hope the police brings justice to the family , and all my prayers goes out to them & the soul of the man . Rest in peace.

This is a horrible…they should’ve stayed there and called for help.
