Spaccia Bails Out Of Jail: KNX 1070's Claudia Peschiutta Reports
Police say Angela Spaccia was released Friday night from the Century Regional Detention Facility on a $350,000 bond.
Spaccia was charged with four felony counts of misappropriation of public funds.
In a related development, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor rejected a defense bid Friday to lift a hold on former Bell City Manager Robert Rizzo's $2 million bail. The judge said there was not sufficient collateral to ensure Rizzo's presence in court.
Spaccia, 52, and Rizzo, 56, were among the eight current and former Bell officials arrested Tuesday and charged with misappropriating more than $5.5 million in public funds.
Three others were released from jail after appearing in court Wednesday.
