LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Macy’s has announced it plans to hire about 65,000 seasonal workers to staff its stores, call center, distribution centers and online fullfillment centers across the country this holiday season.

Most of the positions are part-time and will require applicants to work evenings, weekends or overnight. Some temporary workers are offered open year-round positions based on how well they do during the holidays.

Applications for positions are being accepted online now at www.macysjobs.com.
