SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — A federal judge has cleared the way for California’s first execution since 2006 after the state revised its lethal injection procedures.

Corrections officials have scheduled the execution of Albert Greenwood Brown for next Wednesday.

U.S. District Court Judge Jeremy Fogel said Friday that Brown’s execution could move ahead. He cited the state’s extensive efforts to address the court’s concerns that the previous lethal injection procedure was unconstitutional.

I SAY DO IT! why should they have rights? they give up their rights when they take the ones of their victims. oooh but the system still gives them a chance. parole, probation! seriously? that’s like time-out for a 5yr old. you know it’ll be a matter of time they will strike again. if laws were like they were back then, I think we would have less crime. why complain of jails being to crowded? get rid of them. honestly..will society miss those rapist and child abusers and murderers? just a thought.

Since public stoning is not available in the US, I guess this is a good start. There is no reason why criminals on Death Row should be enjoying their private rooms with TV and gourmet food at our tax dollar’s expense. Clean out the halls for the next batch!
