Man Arrested In Shooting Deaths At Bell Gardens Party

BELL GARDENS (AP) — Authorities say a 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder for the shooting deaths of two men in a backyard party in Los Angeles County.

Sheriff's Capt. Michael Parker said 20-year-old Noe Ramirez of Los Angeles was arrested Sunday.

A sheriff's news release said that at the party in Bell Gardens on Saturday, two men in their 20s were killed, a 27-year-old woman was shot and wounded, and an 18-year-old man was severely beaten.

The victims' names were being withheld.

The release says a fight broke out at the party and several shots were fired from multiple weapons.

Deputies reached by phone did not know if Ramirez had hired an attorney.
