Man Arrested In Shooting Deaths At Bell Gardens Party

BELL GARDENS (AP) — Authorities say a 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder for the shooting deaths of two men in a backyard party in Los Angeles County.

Sheriff’s Capt. Michael Parker said 20-year-old Noe Ramirez of Los Angeles was arrested Sunday.

A sheriff’s news release said that at the party in Bell Gardens on Saturday, two men in their 20s were killed, a 27-year-old woman was shot and wounded, and an 18-year-old man was severely beaten.

The victims’ names were being withheld.

The release says a fight broke out at the party and several shots were fired from multiple weapons.

Deputies reached by phone did not know if Ramirez had hired an attorney.

It may not be the best city in the world, but a lot of nice people still call Bell Gardens home.
